Cricket Hill Academy is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit school of horsemanship located at Cricket Hill Farm in Ancramdale, NY. The Academy’s mission is:
| 1. | To establish, own and operate a coeducational school of horsemanship for children and adults, with or without disabilities; |
| 2. | To encourage modern and safe approaches to horse care and stable management; |
| 3. | To promote horseback riding based on sound equitation principles and concern for the welfare of the horse; |
| 4. | To research and develop more effective treatment programs for impaired and aging performance horses in order to promote soundness and comfort and to extend their active, useful lives; |
| 5. | To promote an understanding of sound horse breeding principles and methods, proper care of the pregnant mare and foal, and care and handling of the foal; |
| 6. | To develop greater appreciation of the environment, nature and horticulture, and to promote stewardship of the land for agricultural, recreational and sporting purposes. |
